"Traditional"

This is Yellow Bean cake(?), I used to eat a lot when I was young bc my father used to always buy for me. I love going home to be able to receive it, It feels like an award for being good on that day. But now, we can hardly find this cake anywhere. I have heard the actual company have closed down. But I found it somewhere near my dad's work place.

Question: How do they make this?

Observation: It looks crunchy but it is not.
